Dr. Mohammad Al-Masri
Mohammad Al-Masri is ConocoPhillips Assistant Professor of Arabic Linguistics at the University of Oklahoma. He also serves as Director of the Arabic Flagship Program. Previously, he served as assistant professor of linguistics, chair of Department of English Language and Literature, and Director of the Language Center at the Hashemite University, Jordan. Dr. Al-Masri holds a PhD in linguistics from the University of Kansas. His research focuses on Arabic phonetics and second language learning. He is also member of ACTFL and MESA. Dr. Al-Masri teaches different levels of Arabic at OU, and he previously taught at the University of Kansas and Alakhawayn University Summer Program in Morocco.
